The Program Director will focus on maintaining a quality program while raising additional funds to expand the program to meet the needs of the community. Ensures high quality programs through program development evaluations and ongoing training of staff. Ensures upkeep of related facilities and equipment.
Other duties as assigned. TRAVEL Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
High school graduate or equivalent. Five or more years of experience working with children. One year or more of supervisory experience. Strong customer service skills, responding to multiple questions via phone, email and in person. Ability to problem solve and resolve conflict. Strong computer skills and experience working with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software. Knowledge of standard office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers and phone systems.
Other applicable education, training, and experience, which provide the knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position will be considered. Prefer knowledge of and previous experience with diverse populations language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.
